Day 7:

Cavendish.  Those of you that are fans of the Lucy Maud Montgomery series
Anne of Green Gables will know about this area of PEI.

Today we volunteered to be in the 100th anniversary Cavendish parade.  Most
of our students walked in the parade with poster replicas of the 20 novels that
L.M. Montgomery wrote.  Those that did not carry a book replica carried flags
from the various countries where the book has been published.  At the end of
the parade our children were apart of the official opening ceremonies of a new
exhibit at Green Gables.  Each of the flags were placed within the exhibit by our
students for visitors to see when they visit Green Gables.

Supper saw us all heading to the house of Preston and Martha Ellis.  Here
another BBQ was laid out for the SEVEC exchange students.  Island hospitality
was once again on the menu as the Ellis family put on a ''feed'' of mussels
